Visit to the Centre for Integrative Semiconductor Materials

On 14 July 24, we had the pleasure of visiting the Centre for Integrative Semiconductor Materials (CISM) at Swansea University / Prifysgol Abertawe, hosted by our Co-Investigator, Professor Paul Meredith.
Our conversations highlighted a significant gap in how circular economy principles are embedded into the life cycle of a semiconductor. This is a critical area where we see an opportunity to help drive more sustainable, circular approaches in this sector.

We toured the state-of-the-art Fab Lab, gaining valuable insights into the South Wales semiconductor cluster which is a vibrant ecosystem of industry, academia, and RTOs, with CISM at the forefront of driving research, development and innovation.
