DICE Network+ Launch

What a day! The inaugural EPSRC-funded DICE Network+ event at the Smith Centre in the Science Museum brought together over 85 of the most inspiring minds shaping the future of the digitally enabled circular economy, including partners from SAP, Ellen MacArthur Foundation and ReLondon.

From discussion of agentic AI and circular design to collaborative roundtables, speed networking, and the unveiling of our first funding call (https://lnkd.in/gvmEmd9Y), the energy in the room was nothing short of electric.

A huge thank you to everyone involved, and to our keynote speakers:
🔹 Prof Fiona Charnley (Professor of Circular Innovation at University of Exeter) – for her compelling vision of impact through the DICE Network+
🔹 Darren West (Global Head of SAP‘s Circular Economy solutions) – on agentic AI and circularity
🔹 Paula Muir-McLeod (EPSRC Portfolio Manager) – for providing guidance on the evolving funding landscape

We also heard lightning talks from eight cutting-edge EPSRC research projects (Sina Sareh, Pelin Demirel, Kelly Widdicks, Klaus McDonald-Maier, Panagiota Angeli, Stuart Coles, Yongjing Wang, Prof Ash Tiwari), engaged in deep discussions about the UK’s circular innovation ecosystem, and kick-started bold new collaborations.
